My studio practice allows me to work on a wide range of projects from my base at Deemouth Artist Studios, here in Aberdeen, Scotland.
Whether it's learning new skills, experimental textile projects, international collaborations, or working with other organisations to facilitate workshops, I love working with textiles, sharing ideas, and what I've learned with others.
Textile Repair Lab
Coming April 2022!
An explorative project to develop my screen printing, eco-printing and natural dye processes, and moving towards developing slower made, process rich, explorative and experimental one-off pieces.
Learning hand stitch garment construction with the all-women team at Raas Leela Textiles who make products where every design, material and process is chosen thoughtfully keeping the environment, process and the maker in mind first. And fashion second!
Making Design Circular
I am part of an International membership community for designer-makers who want to become more sustainable and am learning lots on my journey to become more sustainable and circular. Created by our lovely leader, craft writer Katie Treggiden, who explores whether Craft can save the world!
Youth Artist Practitioner Award '21
Facilitating Mindful Outdoor Textile Craft Play with Aberdeen City Youth Work Team and the Syrian New Scot’s Women’s Group and their young children.
Introducing the group to local outdoor spaces for wellbeing, and simple family craft activities for wellbeing.

Field Guide
This self-directed project explored my local wild landscapes and the plant life within it. Mindfully observing what grows and when, the shift of the seasons, and our relationship to what is around us.
This project went on to form the basis of my second collection - 'Field Guide'

It was a massive learning curve working with wallpaper, but the finished result was worth it.
